Our workshops focus on relatively “conventional” topics (e.g., presentation skills), but also cover aspects of academia that are often not taught to early-career researchers (e.g., mental health in academia). The topics covered during our workshops include:

Expert-led sessions: our workshops are conducted by Dr. Isabelle Kohler, an Assistant Professor at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and the founder of NextMinds. Isabelle brings a wealth of real-world academic experience and insight to each workshop. Currently training in coaching and counselling, she leads every workshop with a deep sense of empathy, ensuring a supportive and enriching learning environment.
Customized content: the workshop content is flexible and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your university, medical center, student association, or conference.
Interactive and engaging: Our workshops are designed to be interactive, encouraging active participation and discussion among attendees. “Boring” is not a word you’ll hear during these sessions. Moreover, we prioritize creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere in each workshop, ensuring everyone feels comfortable sharing their experiences and perspectives.
