Kickstart your summer with a yoga + surf adventure in Rockaway Beach! Join Lisa Bermudez + Locals Surf School for a Sunday of yoga and surfing! We’ll start off our morning with an all-levels yoga class right on the beach. You’ll breath in the fresh air, let go of whatever the week’s left on your shoulders, and stretch and align your body in preparation to surf! Your surf lesson is 2 hours long and wetsuits and surfboards will be provided. Lessons are for surfers of all levels (total beginners are totally welcome).

Beach 69th Street (On the Beach) Rockaway Beach, NY, 11692 (directions for train, bus, car, ferry) Support a great cause! A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Souljourn Yoga, a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to raising funds and awareness for girls’ education across the globe via yoga retreats and local events.
INCLUDED: 1-hour yoga class, 2-hour surf lesson, wetsuit, surfboard, bottled water, good vibes.
NOT INCLUDED: transportation to and from Rockaway Beach, tips.
PLEASE BRING: your bathingsuit, beach towel, light snack, positive energy.
